We would like to introduce Andy Botts as our candidate for Worship Pastor!
He will be leading worship in view of call on April 21, 2024. Be sure to come early that Sunday to meet Andy and his family at 8:30–9:15am in the Worship Center.
A word from Pastor Luke:
Church family, since the day I was voted in as your pastor I have been praying that the Lord would lead the right men and women of God to join our staff to build the kingdom here in Tallahassee.
From the very first phone call with Andy, I have felt that He is indeed God’s man for our church. While I have been very impressed with his talents and abilities in music, it’s his heart, his experience and his ministry journey that just seem to fit so well with this church in our season of worship ministry. I truly believe the Lord has brought this together.
I’m very excited to invite Andy onto our staff to shepherd us in worship on Sundays for years to come. I cannot wait for you to meet him, Lauren and his two kids Cooper and Ashton.
A word from Andy:
My calling is to be a worship pastor who leads worship with excellence and authenticity. Excellence, however, does not mean perfection, and authenticity does not mean subpar. That is, I believe that God calls us to give Him our best, play skillfully (Psalm 33:3), and worship Him with intentionality and authenticity, with head and heart, in Spirit and Truth (John 4:23). The calling of a worship leader is never to follow a trend or a fad, but to truly dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness (Psalm 37:3).
We prayerfully look forward to joining with the Bradfordville family as we work together to be on mission with the Gospel!
I have been married to my bride, Lauren, since 2008. We have a daughter, Ashton (12), and a son, Cooper (10). In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors, woodworking, playing disc golf, and being terrible at regular golf.
