There are always opportunities to serve in our community. Whether it’s work days at the Florida Baptist Children’s Home, breakfast deliveries to local business, or partnering with our county schools, we strive to share the message of Jesus though both our words and actions.
Being passionate about Jesus’ command to make disciples of all nations, we reach into our community and around the world with the life-giving message of God’s love. We partner with the IMB to do evangelism, home construction, and medical services in Brazil and the Dominican Republic.
The Manna Ministry provides bags of groceries, friendly counseling, and prayer support for low income members of our community every first and third Tuesday of each month from 4:00-6:00 pm at the McMillan Center. Volunteers are always needed to help distribute food and provide counsel.
The Followers is a helping hands ministry that provides manual labor activities to church members and individuals in our community in need of extra assistance. Past projects include minor home improvements, plumbing/toilet repair, yard work, wheelchair ramp construction, and moving assistance.
Centershot is an outreach ministry that uses the life-skill of archery to reach our community with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is a safe and fun program for boys and girls in the third through eighth grade. Centershot is an 8-week program that meets on Sunday’s from 3:00-5:00 pm multiple times throughout the year.
If you sing or play a musical instrument, then consider participating in one of our music teams – our choir, orchestra, or worship team. We have a unified style of worship that requires all three groups on any given Sunday.
Every Sunday it takes a small army to run the worship service’s audio and visual features – including the sound board, lighting, video recording, and service slides. We are always looking for men and women to help with these task. No experience is required and training will be provided.
Our nursery is for children ages birth to 4 years old. We have opportunities for volunteers to work during either the Sunday School hour at 9:15 am or during the worship service at 10:30 am. If you would like to join our rotational schedule, volunteers are always welcomed!
We offer Sunday School classes for all ages and stages of life. Leaders and subs are always needed throughout any time of the year. These volunteers lead groups in engaging and gospel-centered Bible study and community fellowship.
