Celeste Guthrie

Interim Children’s Director

Celeste grew up at as a military kid and was born in England. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Education degree from Oklahoma Baptist University and Master of Religious Education Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.

She taught elementary school in Texas. Her Children’s Ministry has led her to serve churches in Texas, Tennessee, and Florida. She has written two books and led state conferences for the Texas, Tennessee, and Florida Baptist Conventions. She has also written for Lifeway Resources and currently writes preschool missions’ curriculum.

When Celeste arrived at Bradfordville in January 2022, she completed her 32nd move. Tim, her husband, and Celeste love traveling and going to sporting events. She also loves to sew, cook, bake, garden, and scrapbook.
