Our Serve Team is a vital part of the life and mission of Bradfordville. We believe that service is not just something we do—it’s part of our calling as followers of Christ. In scripture, we see Jesus lead by example, humbly serving others with compassion, love, and purpose. As believers, we are invited to reflect that same heart of service in our own lives. At Bradfordville, there are countless ways to live out your calling through serving!

Serving Opportunities

Our Kids Ministry is invested in the spiritual growth of the next generation—specifically, children from birth through 5th grade. Kids Ministry is a place where kids can experience Jesus through meaningful relationships, worship, and the truths of God's Word in a fun, safe, and age-appropriate environment. Members of the Serve Team in Kids Ministry are committed to helping kids grow into the young disciples God created them to be. There are weekly opportunities to serve, primarily on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, and there are seasonal opportunities like Egg Hunt, VBS, and Fall Festival.

Our Student Ministry is invested in the spiritual growth of the next generation—specifically, students in 6th through 12th grade. Through dynamic worship, relevant teaching, and authentic relationships, our Student Ministry equips young people to find life in Jesus and bring that life to everything around them. Members of the Serve Team in Student Ministry are passionate about engaging and equipping the next generation to do these things. There are weekly opportunities to serve, primarily on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, and seasonal opportunities like DNOW Weekend and Beach Week.

Our Young Adult Ministry is invested in the spiritual growth of the next generation—specifically with adults ages 18 through 25. Young Adult Ministry is a place where young adults can grow spiritually and build authentic relationships during a crucial season of life. Members of the Young Adult Serve Team are committed to equipping young adults to follow Christ in community. There are weekly opportunities to serve, primarily on Sunday mornings and Sunday nights.

Our Adult Ministry Teams include our Adult Family Groups, as well as our Men's, Women's, and Legacy Ministries. Our Adult Family Groups provide a way for adults to develop their faith in a meaningful way in community with others. Adult Family Groups meet on a weekly basis, primarily on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, and occasionally throughout the week.

Our Men's, Women's, and Legacy Ministries gather seasonally throughout the year for ministry-specific events, service opportunities, and related ministry efforts.

Our Prayer Team cultivates a vital culture of the church—a culture of dependence on God through prayer. Members of the Prayer Serve Team faithfully intercede for the church, our people, and our mission by intentionally praying and offering support through prayer. There are weekly opportunities to serve, primarily on Sunday mornings, and seasonally throughout the year for annual events, gatherings, and other ministry related activities.

Our Security Team helps ensure a safe environment for everyone who attends our church, allowing those who gather to worship and fellowship freely. Members of the Security Team have a heart for serving others by providing safety and protection, and handling all kinds of situations with wisdom, discretion, and care. There are weekly opportunities to serve on the Security Team, primarily on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, and seasonal opportunities throughout the year for ministry-specific events, special churchwide gatherings, and other ministry-related activities.

Our Welcome Team exists to create a warm, inviting environment where everyone feels connected and a part of our church family from their very first visit. The Welcome Team includes various areas of service: Parking, Greeter, Host, and Coffee. Across every area of service, Welcome Team members lead the way in making people feel seen, cared for, and know they belong here. There are weekly opportunities to serve on the Welcome Team, primarily on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, and seasonally throughout the year for ministry-specific events, churchwide gatherings, and other ministry-related activities.

The Next Steps Serve Team exists to walk alongside individuals as they respond to what God is doing in their lives, helping them move forward in their faith journey. Whether someone is exploring salvation, preparing for baptism, or pursuing church membership through Discover Bradfordville, this team provides guidance, encouragement, and practical support every step of the way. There are weekly and monthly opportunities to serve on this team, primarily on Sunday mornings.

Our Worship Arts Team uses musical, technical, and creative gifts to lead the church in authentic worship. The Worship Arts Team includes various areas of service, including worship vocalists, worship band, and production. This team works together from the platform and behind the scenes to create an atmosphere where people can connect with God. There are weekly opportunities to serve, primarily on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights, and seasonally throughout the year for ministry-specific events, churchwide gatherings, and other ministry-related activities.

Our Creative Team brings to life the mission and values of our church through creative elements. This includes things like photography, graphic design, media, and similar visual elements. Members of the Creative Team use their unique gifts to visually represent who we are as a church. There are weekly opportunities to serve, primarily on Sunday mornings, and seasonally throughout the year for ministry-specific events, churchwide gatherings, or other ministry-related activities.

The Manna Ministry began in October 2007 and has two outlets to serve the needy in our community on the 1^st and 3^rd Tuesday of every month. You can support the Manna Food Pantry in several different ways: Praying for God to direct and protect the ministry; giving to the designated Manna fund, which provides the funds needed to purchase additional food; and serving with us on distribution Tuesdays. Our distribution days start around 9:00 with unloading and organizing the Second Harvest food delivery, and then bagging the food needed for that day. We gather again around 2:30 to bag frozen food and finalize the setup for serving our neighbors from 4 until 6. Part of serving each neighbor includes sitting down and having a prayer with them over their prayer requests. Volunteers help with the morning bagging, afternoon bagging/set up, praying with our neighbors, handling paperwork, and loading the food into cars. You can support the Manna Clothes Closet in several ways, also: by donating gently used items such as clothing, kids' clothes and toys, baby items, household items, linens, and even furniture and appliances. You can also serve with the Clothes Closet team by helping sort and organize donations and assisting neighbors as they "shop" on distribution Tuesdays.
