Bradfordville received a special certificate last week from the North American Mission Board (NAMB). Our church was identified as one of their top giving churches. Thank you for giving money and praying for the spread of the Gospel in North America. That’s a high honor for our church! All glory to God!
On Tuesday and Wednesday, we’re sending a group to Orlando to attend the NAMB SEND 2017 Conference at First Baptist Church Orlando. Thousands of pastors and ministry leaders will attend. I’m grateful to see our church partner with NAMB to inspire and equip God’s people for ministry.
Let me answer a few questions about the conference and our church.
- What’s the purpose of the conference?
The SEND 2017 Conference is a two-day gathering of the church in North America. The heart of this gathering is to see a movement of people from within the church living out the mission of God in their everyday lives.
- How will the conference equip Bradfordville for ministry?
This conference will prepare members from within our church to be on mission for Jesus Christ in North America and around the world. That’s keeping the main thing the main thing and fulfilling the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20).
- What is Bradfordville’s purpose statement?
Our church exists to make disciples that love upward, inward, and outward. It’s exciting to see you growing in Christ, loving one another, and reaching people in our city and around the world.
- How can you participate in the conference?
You can pray! I appeal for you to pray for safe travels, healthy fellowship, open minds, receptive hearts, intentional conversations, biblical teaching, and divine wisdom. God moves when His people pray!
- Does God desire to use all people in His mission?
God’s mission “is for students, business people, soccer moms, church planters, grandmothers, lawyers, pastors, and contractors – it is for the entirety of the church. The movement of God’s mission sweeps across everyday, ordinary lives.” Are you available for God to use?
Thank you for praying and supporting our leadership to equip you to know God’s heart, to hear God’s voice, and to follow God’s call.
