As I evaluate my pastoral ministry at Bradfordville, I’m asking many questions. Is the church unified? Are we outward-focused? Are people connecting to Sunday School classes? Are church members discovering and using their spiritual gifts to serve in ministry? In one of our recent staff meetings, we looked at a report that listed people who’ve joined our church family since March 2014. Here’s what I took away from that exercise; it’s evident that Bradfordville’s back door is closing.
Coming up this Sunday is our Ministry Fair. Following the morning worship service, you’ll be able to go outside (weather permitting) and enjoy a “Deacon Dog” and see the different ministries of Bradfordville. You might be asking, “What’s a ‘Deacon Dog?’” It’s a “hot dog” cooked and served by our deacons. By the way, we borrowed that term from another church. During the Ministry Fair, you’ll discover how ministries are carrying out the church’s vision and how you can be involved in them. God never saved you and me to sit on the sidelines and watch other people serve. In order to close the church’s back door, we must be intentional about helping people establish relationships and serve in ministry.

I’m blessed to say that God is using Bradfordville to make a kingdom difference locally and globally. Our Lord is calling and leading us to love Him, each other, and people in Tallahassee and around the world.
